When did you start exercising /how /why?
I started going to the gym a year ago. But it wasn’t until 6 months ago that it became almost my daily routine with the aim to replace my nightlife habits with healthy ways. Now when I look at the changes, it’s not drastic but at least the Good Attitude, and the better Fit Shape is there.
What’s your weekly routine?
I never needed more convincing to hitting the gym 4 times a week and attending to outdoor activities or squash sessions in the weekends. Because it helps me keep it social as well.
Do you exercise alone or in group?
For me, group workouts rule the day. And for the good reason: I think peer support can be a great motivator and helper to stick to your fitness objectives, and most importantly they bring up the game. It can almost feel like group therapy.
What are your top songs to keep you motivated?
While I am a big fan of alternative and indie rock in my “outside the gym” life, I enjoy the techno, deep house and underground music while working out at the gym… it simply ups my effort, keeps me in pace and mostly in the zone.
How did you change your eating habits?
While workout is a game changer, I don’t overlook a major factor: a healthier and more balanced diet. I started using an app to track my macros and make sure I am feeding my body the necessities. But at the same time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants with good company… because as I said it is important to keep it social and balanced!
How did it change your life?
In the end, life cannot be taken too seriously… We should still enjoy the fun side of it. For everyone who want to feel better physically and mentally: start training… It gives you a rewarding therapy with guaranteed changes. Good ones.
