In 1987, the group became the first pop artist to perform at Suntory Hall, which had previously been a classical-only venue. The "PURE ACOUSTIC" concert started there, and was held almost every year for 23 years, but the last concert was held in 2009 when Asuka Kaneko (Vn), one of the main members, moved to the U.S. A one-time concert was held in Kamakura in 2013, but that "PURE" and transparent world was held again with the best musicians for the first time in about 5 years.
The long-awaited live recording from the Shinjuku Bunka Center Main Hall on Saturday, March 24, 2018, is the first time in five years that the "PURE" and transparent world was performed with the best musicians. Taeko Onuki is an indispensable figure in the current city pop scene. The charm of her voice, which has not changed over the decades and has not aged, and her gentle and dignified singing voice that lingers in the ears, can be enjoyed on this LIVE disc.
