COMPLETE COLLECTION (DIG) (ARG)
2011 compilation that celebrates Blues music and the artists who have made a huge impact on the genre. Without the Blues there would be no Rock 'n' Roll, no Rock music nor almost every kind of popular music that's listened to today. The Blues continues to influence contemporary music and has inspired musicians of all generations to embrace it's emotion. John Lee Hooker was born in the heart of the Mississippi Delta in Clarksdale in 1917 and having been influenced by Charlie Paton and Tommy McClennan lived long enough to influence just about everyone who has played the Blues since the 1950s.
