How To: Make your own Pumpkin Spice Latte

Now that we’re all so done with the 50-degree temperature and the weather is starting to cool down (finally), our all-time favorite drink is set to come back - Pumpkin Spice Latte season is here! Avoid the hassle of going to the nearest coffee shop and skip the long queues as we have here the recipe of the all-time classic fall drink. Cool down at home with our Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe

Step 1: You’ll be needing 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, 2 cups of milk, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Get all the ingredients whisked in a small saucepan over medium hit – it’s important to whisk constantly until the mixture starts to steam up.

Step 2: Gently remove from heat once steamed – then, carefully pour your mixture into your blender. Cover it with the lid tightly for the mixture not to go everywhere (we don’t want that) and blend it for at least 20 seconds, or until foamy.

Step 3: Then, make your espresso or coffee. If you’re going for an extra milk foam on top of your latte, drizzle a bit of tablespoons of milk into a glass jar with a lid while your coffee is brewing. Seal the lid tightly and shake for at least one minute. Remove the cover and microwave the milk for 30-seconds

Step 4: Start pouring ½ cup of coffee onto your favorite mugs, then pour the pumpkin mixture on both. Top it with your extra milk foam (if using) and get crazy on sprinkling pumpkin pie spice.

Making the Pumpkin Pie Spice: All you’ll be needing is

  • 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Mix it all together and now you have your Pumpkin Pie Spice
