Halloween Recipes

This Halloween, prepare snacks for your little ones and friends in the most unexpected way possible. Make your Halloween night ghoulishy good by whipping-up these spook-tacular easy-made treats and drink to make any part gruesomely great.

Cree-my Hot Cocoa: If candies and choco-s didn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, the last resort would be Hot Cocoa – perfect for the chilly weather too!

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 4 cups of milk
  • Marshmallow
  • Food coloring Marker

Here’s how you do it:

  • Put your chocolate chips on a small pot and start to melt on low-medium heat
  • Slowly pour your milk on the small pot with the chocolate chips
  • Whisk and heat until chocolate chips are fully melted
  • Draw a ghosts face on the marshmallows with the food coloring marker once the mixture is done

Caramel Apples: Celebrate Halloween with a classic fall snack, Caramel Apple – of course Halloween wouldn’t be complete without it.

Here’s what you need:

  • 12 ounces of milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 to 4 candy bars (Crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 4-6 tart apples (be sure that these are in room temperature)
  • 14 ounces of caramels
  • Popsicle stick/thin branch sticks

Here’s how you do it:

  • Melt your chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, put the caramels and water in another bowl to melt, uncovered for a minute (microwave should be set in high temp).
  • Insert your popsicle stick or branch stick if you may, into each apple; then coat it with your caramel mixture. Drizzle your apple with the melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy bars. Place it in the refrigerator to set and then Enjoy!

Cookies: Now you have two options for this, it’s either you make your cookies from scratch or buy a ready-mix one which you can find at most stores.

Here’s what you need (for decorating only):

  • Red and Black food coloring (optional)
  • 200g/70z ready-to-roll fondant icing
  • Halloween-themed cooking clutters

Here’s how you do it:

  • Make your cookie dough and start baking!
  • Once the cookies are off the oven, place them onto a baking tray to cool down for a bit
  • Let your imagination go cray! – use red writing icing along the edges of the cookies to portray bloods. If you’re planning to do skeletons and mummies, roll the fondant icing out to a 0.5cm/1/4 in thickness on a surface with icing sugar below and start to cut out shapes using the same cutters as you used for the cookie dough.
  • Decorate with the white and black writing icing for the rest.
