To start grinding, simply press and hold the button on top and release once you're done seasoning.
Adjust the grind from fine to coarse with the knob at the bottom of the grinder to suit your dish. To fill the grinder, simply rotate the acrylic centre and steel body to match the padlock icon with the unlock icon. remove the lid, fill with your choice of whole peppercorns or coarse salt and replace the lid to ensure you line up the symbols. Each grinder requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). Alkaline batteries are recommended instead of zinc due to the power required to grind salt and pepper.
