With Fire It Up Joe Cocker linked to the sustainable success of his published in 2010, decorated platinum number-one album, Hard Knocks on. The superb, new follow-up album, which will appear this winter, returned Joe Cocker back in California Emblem Studios by producer Matt Serletic. For Fire It Up produced Cocker and Serletic, who worked with Matchbox Twenty, Santana, Rob Thomas and Collective Soul. Had, in winter 2011 and spring 2012, eleven songs new about another collaboration with Joe Cocker, Matt Serletic says: "We have gone a step further this time I'm thrilled to hear all the components to which we for the new album. Had brought together. We have wonderful, classic soul numbers, large, powerful ballads and energetic tracks all that finds it's rightful place on the new album. "It is a country number, but then again not" "The Letting Go" Charlie Evans wrote with the famous English blues-soul singer Joss Stone and the Grammy-winning Graham Lyle. The irresistible title track (and also the first single), "Fire It Up", the hymn text and voluptuous chorus of Joe Cocker is sung with his typical, unrivaled passion, was written by Alan Frew, Harry Reid and Marty Dodson. About this song Joe Cocker says: "The single" Fire It Up "is a special song that gave the album as a whole is a major offense." Matt Serletic adds, "The song has a special energy that we einfingen during the recordings."
