Prepare to be sucked into a huge, hybrid RPG in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS! For the first time, the Persona series arrives on a Nintendo system, delivering a massive, dungeon-crawling adventure! Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a combination of two long-running series, Persona and Etrian Odyssey, and this exciting new outing sees you play as the casts of Persona 3 or Persona 4. Whether it's Makoto, Junpei and the gang, or Chie, Teddie and Co., each team experiences a unique side of the story, as well as teaming up throughout. You'll meet new names, Rei and Zen, and forge relationships between all the characters. Be mindful of your conversations, though, as different dialogue choices affect the path of this bizarre and mysterious story! When a strange clock tower appears outside Yasogami High School, the Persona protagonists find the corridors transformed, trapping them in a strange, cultural festival set in an alternative world. Each classroom holds a vast dungeon filled with monsters, and the only way to solve the mystery is to conquer each labyrinth before the final toll of the clock tower bell. As you venture into the dungeons, you'll experience the first-person exploration of the Etrian Odyssey series. Budding cartographers get to plot out the passages (plus their contents and events) using the Touch Screen, something that proves a crucial strategy - you'll soon get lost without it, or worse, as there are dozens of fearsome monsters in each dungeon to threaten your safety. Strategise for those inevitable combat situations ahead of time by setting your party of five's formation for maximum impact: place hardy team-mates up front, and keep the more fragile ones protected in the back row! When you encounter an enemy, you'll be ready to jump into turn-based battle. As well as standard attacks, you'll get to summon powerful alter egos, known as Personas, which represent facets of your heroes' psyches. Each Persona has specific attributes, such as Electricity or Light, and using these tactically allows you to exploit enemy weaknesses to boost your moves. You can even opt for an all-out attack, where the whole party targets a single enemy for colossal damage! Fusing Personas lets you fashion new ones with unique qualities, too, and the deeper your characters' relationships, the more powerful your Personas become. With more than 80 hours of story, and fully-voiced English dialogue, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth combines two beloved franchises in a fresh adventure, only on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS!
